We can’t tell you exactly how long your system will last. We have customers who have had their system for over 20 years. It depends on the quality of your water and how often you get it serviced. We would recommend upgrading your system between 8-12 years.
Yes, you can have the Arkk Z installed if you have a water softener in your home already. This under sink water filter is compatible with existing water softeners and works seamlessly in residential homes.
Reverse Osmosis is a process that takes any water back to complete pureness, by putting water through a series of different filters and a membrane. Reverse osmosis takes place when a water treatment method pushes water through multiple filters and a membrane to remove impurities. ArkkZ is designed to provide safe drinking water by filtering over 100 contaminants through a 20-stage process, all from a compact under sink unit.
The ArkkZ are fitted to your mains cold water, usually near your kitchen sink. They work using a pump to push water through 20 layers of filtration. Each filter does a different job in the purification process. The filters we use are industry-leading technology in water purification. When it comes to water we don't mess around. You deserve the best!
The Arkk Pure system was so successful that it became our line of compact filtration systems. Arkk Z is the second system in the line, which is more compact, quieter and with more powerful filtration. Both are part of our home water filtration system range.
The ArkkZ effectively removes over 100 harmful substances, achieving a 99.99% purification rate. These include Chlorine, Fluoride, Lead, and various other contaminants like Arsenic, Chloramine, THMs, Microplastics, limescale, and more.
Absolutely! You can still have a water filtration system installed in your rented home. However, we recommend getting permission from the property owner before installation, as we may need to drill a small hole (around 6 mm) in your counter top for the separate tap. A kitchen sink hole cover is also available with our technicians.
To maintain long-term performance, the system uses filters that should be replaced yearly (PCB filter) and every 24 months (reverse osmosis membrane). Annual servicing keeps your home water filtration system working as it should.
The recommended replacement schedule is every 12 months for the Pre-filter and every 24 months for the membrane. You’ll receive notifications each year when your filters are due for delivery.
You’ll also get reminders through colour-coded LED indicators: blue means everything is good, while red signals it’s time for a filter change. If you see a red light on your system, contact us, and we’ll assist you to ensure you continue to have pure, safe water from your tap.
For your system to be working properly you need an annual service which you will get your filters sent out to you every 12 months.
